An open edition in all sizes
Young lions expend their energy long after their parents, and finally, after a morning of much exuberance, this cub called time out on itself. The backdrop is the magnificent fallen tree at Musiara in the Maasai Mara, that is, the home of television's Big Cat Diary's famous Marsh Pride.
The picture almost did not happen because of operator (me) error. Moments before, I was lining up a baboon on a tree in the opposite direction, and as such the camera's exposure was set far too high to be of use for this, the following picture. However the picture was rescued by modern (for 2010) camera sensor technology and some judicious use of Adobe Lightroom. The picture was far too good not to pass up.
Open Edition prints
Open prints have no limit to their print run and are not numbered or signed. A signature is reproduced just beneath the image area. Open prints cost less than limited editions but are identical in appearance and quality.
SizesMeasurements given are for the longest side of the printed image area. Each print is made with a wide paper border all around. For sizes larger than those listed, please enquire.
